A perfect human statue (Mi's side)

A perfect human statue

In a mixture of blind rage and bitter sadness I Marched down the hall to where Arabella was ready to take on every last one of the staff that was there even if it did mean getting my self locked up in the ECA for a really long time.

“Mi, come back here!” I Heard Esmee yell from behind me “You know you can’t just walk out when you are on red observations and for another thing all you have to do is ask and I will go with you where ever you want anyway.”

“OK, I’m sorry, where are my manners.” I said sarcastically over my shoulder to Esmee, “Esmee can I go and stop the abuse that is happening in front of my very eyes?” I snapped before running the rest of my way down the corridor and throwing my self into the middle of the seen that had disturbed me so, grabbing hold of Arabella before any one even had the chance to even think about wrestling me to the ground.

“Arabella, it’s all right.” I said softly ignoring every effort she made to break out of my arms even though every hit she tried to throw at me landed squarely where she wanted it too including on my still mending ribs.

“Mi get away from her!” Emmet snapped swooping in with some of the rest of the staff to try and pull me off of her. “She’s hurting you.”

“Don’t you dare fucking touch me!” I snarled at Emmet trying not to wince as I felt Arabella push heard against my chest her fingernails scratching down over the flesh making the hot blood spill free from the skin.

“I won’t let them touch you Arabella.” I tried to sooth trying my best to pull Arabella down to the floor with me where she wouldn’t have a chance of actually knocking me over if she managed to land another painful punch to the side of my chest

“They are only trying to help you believe it or not.” I said again softly being careful not to raise my voice near her as I didn’t want her to think I was trying to control her, I wanted her to think I was trying to comfort her because in reality that was what I was trying to do; people didn’t scream like she was for the fun of it.

“Put me back!” Arabella suddenly yelled making every one of the staff take a step back away from her because for them what had just happened would have been shock progress that they had never made. Arabella had never talked before and for clinically minded staff that was enough however for me it meant nothing, she was still too frightened.

“They leave me alone while I am in there!” Arabella shouted again,

“They will leave you alone out here. I promise they will all you have to do is sit down on the floor with me and stop banging into things and then they will all go away bar two of them.” I said gently to Arabella while shooting a menacing glance around to every member of staff that I had in my line of vision, a silent warning that they would need a SWAT team to take me down if they made me out to be a liar.

“Promise?” Arabella asked sounding like a small child that had just struck a bargain with its mother on weather they could have a packet of sweets or not.

“I promise.” I confirmed my voice so tiny now I was practically having to whisper in her ear and then with out any warning Arabella became completely still and floppy allowing me to take her down to the floor where she sat in my arms like a perfect human statue.
